It is by height and age. If you are 54 inches, you can ride in the medium track and any smaller,.you ride in the young track. The young track goes only up to 10 mph, the medium track goes to 30 mph, and the adult track, which requires a licence or permit, goes up to 60 mph. It is a fun experience overall.
