I don't understand the whole permanent residence at a campground, it kills it for those of us who can only camp for 3 or 4 days. Never heard of permanent residency in a campground.

I agree....campgrounds w/ permanent residents is a killer for us....if I see a add on deck....forget it......not only do they take away from the beauty of the campgrounds by bringing the flamingos and every other conceivable object from their permanent home....but it also doesnt give people just coming in for a few days there to be able to get a spot.....only reason being is that it helps the campground on a year round basis....financial...

Its simple. Ppl that enjoy this type of thing an dont require a lot of things can buy a camper put it here an no worries just fun on the lake. All year around. Thank god for cedar ridge campground. Chris curtis

Basically they just don't want to lose the spot so they just pay for the spot for a long time
