Anne-Michele tells the truth. It does back up to a local park, you can just cut through the grass on foot, big playground, soccer fields HUGE dog parks (1 for big paws, 1 for little) but no fishing there either :(
No. My husband and I have been here at the Baton Rouge (Denham Springs) KOA the last few weeks and we think it's a really nice one. There's putt putt golf, a dog park, a game room, a breakfast restaurant open on the weekends and a well stocked RV store. The location is on a quiet street but right in the middle of everything so you don't have to go far to find anything. There is some sort of indoor adventure park across the street and a GIANT Bass Pro Shop but we did not venture into either.
