No you do not need a partner. We have many people go through solo.
I think its more about having the ability to decifer between fiction and non fiction tiller.
You do NOT need anyone to go thru with u. It's up to you. Most ppl go with friends.
That depends on your emotional security... If you don't think you can than it's not recommended
