When was the first bobs big boy opened

As stated 1936 but this one is the best and last of the classic versions

According to Google, the first Bob's was opened in 1936 in Toluca Lake, CA. My wife's parents dated at that Bob's. The Bob's in Burbank is just as good. Some of the other Bob's aren't as good as these two original Bob's. Hope this helps.

Pasadena had a Bob's Big boy drive-in when I was a kid; I loved it!

This one was opened in the 1940's. It is not the original restaurant. That one was in Glendale.
