Why do you advertise " come see our amazing grazing cows" when all of your cattle are penned inside a building and never allowed to actually graze or go outdoors? Or do you just mean the two calves you've got in the pen behind the building?...

It's cold as hell. They'll be out when it warms up.

The advertisement for “come see our amazing grazing cows” is an advertisement from the Thorp Chamber and Tourism Bureau for the fiberglass cows around the town of Thorp, not an advertisement for Marieke Gouda. If you have questions about how our farm is run and the care we take with our cows, I encourage you to come and set up a tour at our facility and we’d be happy to tell you about how we take care of our cows and the science behind it. But the advertisement you see regarding the amazing grazing cows is from the Thorp Chamber and Tourism with pictures of the fiberglass cows they purchased and placed around the community. - Kim, General Manager Marieke Gouda

I took a tour there a few months ago. When the owners lived in the Netherlands, their cows were allowed outside once a year. Here they aren't allowed outside ever. The "amazing grazing cows " is an advertisement for the town of Thorpe's cow statues and not Marieke.
