On Sundays people tend to attend church and eat breakfast first and so it made sense that they would open at 10 on Sundays nobody
Most establishments try to offer some kind of work life balance. I would think if you aren't up for breakfast or church most don't leave home until 11 or 12 on a Sunday.
It would be cost prohibitive for them to open at ten. Most wouldn't do enough business to be worth opening for. It allows their employees to go to church and spend time with their families.
