Color change is indication of ripening. Only way to tell if it's still good, is to cut open and see. If the outside is still firm its pretty good chance its still ok.👍

an acorn squash will last one or two months; to determine if one has gone bad, slice it in two. Slimy, gray seeds are a good indicator that the squash has turned
