You can give old books to Books Exchange & Comic shop (Northlake & Prosperity Farms road, next to Chevron gas station).
Old books are not taken but there are many places that exchange books or take old books. You can donate them to many places. You favorite animal shelter has a thrift store, Goodwill and salvation army along with many other stores that keep old things going.
