I'm a Real Estate Broker and I work with tradesman if you need a referral I've heard of Emeryville HD keeping a list of vendors. Always ask for References.

We connected with a floor installer via the Home Depot. The experience was ok, but a bit pushy and definitely a "handoff" from HD to a 3rd party.
