Hello Sheila, The car wash here uses both foam and cloth to clean your vehicle. The foam is used on the spinning wraps, and the cloth is used on the mitters that swing over your vehicle. The foam is soft. Fine-bristle brushes are only used on the wheels and rims of the car.
