Nothing name brand....all "Aldi brand". Prices are close to what you would pay for same size in stores....maybe a bit less. You would have to check the ingredients to getva comparable name brand.
Chances are it would not be a brand you have heard of. I would suggest checking the back of the bag to see if it is right for you. The pet food is inexpensive and at least as good as or better than the average grocery store brand or a cheaper name brands (i.e friskees, a basic purina) but, not as nice as some of the more expensive name brands. (I have bought in a pinch for my pets, they didn't die. :) )
Aldi is not 2nd and 3rd hand food. That doesn't even make sense. It's essentially generic brands. When you pay for Kraft, you're paying not only for the food, but for the brand and all costs associated with marketing that brand are passed to the customer. The brands at Aldi are not advertised on tv, etc. therefore the cost to produce and market is substantially less and the savings is passed on to the customer.
They sale some name brand can dog food but the generic brand is cheaper than another store the best prices i have found is general dollar for name brand can and dey
