Is there a particular weekend day when people with their own equipment/more experienced players show up? Do you set up games/teams for walk-ons, or do people have to find their own games?

You can check the website. BUT, they have big games here on special weekends. (Usually the last weekend in the summer months) Anyone can play, anytime, and you can bring your own gun anytime. They have games set up for people with like, full auto or games with people with more basic guns. On an open play weekend. You don't have to find your own game.
