Yea they are pretty good but love taco Thursdays
I lived practically next door to the place for a year before I finally went in to check it out. I was told by a few people that this bar was a cool spot with great food. I've never been disappointed with the food, the atmosphere, and the customer service. It's kinda like one of Fresno's best underground spots. Even though plenty of locals know about it, there really is no sign or landmark features to indicate it's existence. It has that speakeasy look and feel with a down home local appeal. Try the food, have a drink, and soke in some of the local mojo. 😉 Family owned and Fresno famous for over 30 years.
I wouldn't say the food is the best in the valley but it is very good. What makes it better is that it's a good price. For example they have a taco plate with that includes three tacos rice and beans for 6 bucks. That's what makes the Red Wave great is good food at a good deal good beer good place to hang out

They are the best tortas I've ever hard for sure. The rest of the menu is ok.
The couple times that I have eaten there the food was great.
They might not be the best, but they're definitely top 3 in my opinion. Great spot, good prices. The proximity to State is helpful as well.
