There are 2 fenced off areas for the dogs to safely interact and are away from the water. One is for big dogs the other for small. You and your pups should be safe.
No, it's all natural around the waters... However, there are two fenced in areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. Both have water fountains for the dogs in those fenced areas. The trail is actually really nice! Worth the walk around the trails if you and your dog are up for it.
