Are circle k convience stores in North Carolina referred to as kangaroo express? Does the k in circle k stand for kangaroo? I always thought circle k had to do with like a name of a ranch in the 1800's especially down south they named a ranch.

All the kangaroos have been bought by a group in Canada and the chain became circle k now

I'm not sure about all that, but around here in South eastern North Carolina Kangaroo Express has great deals on cigarettes. Most of them will have "smoker's express" signs as well.
