You can find a lot of great unique food items at lower or competitive prices. Spices, nuts, dried fruits are less. The selection is always diverse and seasonal.
I find you get a lot for your money there. Spices and nuts are much less there.
About same prices
They have very good prices. They've more specialty items then a regular market. Nuts, spices GREAT prices. Really a great store. FYI- they're an affiliate of Aldi's.
I think it might be useful to note that Trader Joe's sources and brands 90% of the products they sell. As such the direct crossover between the products you find there vs. Stater Bros. is almost nil. That said, I think you'll find that Trader Joe's comes out cheaper for most comparable items.
