E- Clark has the answer. Walton beach is an off leash beach that is dog friendly. If your dog doesn’t have papers, vaccinations and you don’t hold a city license for your dog, wait until you have those. Your dog must also be dog and people friendly. Hope this helps.
O-K, here's an informed answer. They do NOT allow dogs in the area between the Life Guard stands. They will blow the whistle at you and ask you to take ur dog(s) further up or down the beach but not in-between the 2 Life Guard stands. It may have to with people complaining that not everyone loves dogs and with small children there, the humans come first. So as ur walking up to the beach from the parking lot, look to see the 2 Life Guard stands and you may walk the beach away from the stands or set up to sit or lounge with ur dogs without a problem. We have walked miles on the beach with multiple dogs but not allowed as mentioned. Go, take ur dogs and you'll have a wonderful time knowing the rules....
Yes half the people out there have dogs. But they're all very well-mannered. Only problem I have is that dog owners will pick up the poop and bag it but then leave the bag on the beach. Shame shame
I bring my little one all the time. Always dogs around. Leashed would be safer.
Dogs are allowed. I have to be leached
