Unfortunately, you have to be 16 to work for Barnes and Noble. Be sure to put an application in at bn.com when you turn 16.
Most businesses have a minimum age limit of 16 due to safety hazards. Also at 16 you will need a physician statement that you're healthy enough to work. There are also working hour restrictions for minors.
