It cost $5 to park in the lot. The machine takes card only. But you can park across the street in the dirt ( as long as there isn't an event) as well for free.

As everyone has noted, it costs about $5 to park. Then plan at least 10-15 minutes to walk downhill and then up the ramp to get on the boat.
