Bought two dozen Great Value eggs last week at Walmart on Elmsley that we learned today had been recalled in April after a Salmonella outbreak. We had already consumed one dozen of the eggs. Now we know why they were so cheap.

The eggs you purchased were not part of the recall. During the recall that location like all others pulled all their eggs, except for egglands best.

You have nothing to worry about. Those eggs you purchased were fine because all affected eggs were cleared prior to that.

Walmart usually has low price on eggs where that's where I usually buy mine I've never had a problem with them I'm sorry that had happened to you but I thank GOD you haven't got sick, i would explain to Walmart and ask them if it could effect you in any way, what to look for and if you needed to contact a doctor
