Do you have insurance? Ask your provider how to get it fixed. You might have to send it in, but it would be worth it for a professional fix at no cost.

Im going to say no. You are better off learning to diy. You can order all the parts online. Its not as hard as you think. They give you a tutorial on the instructions.
Looks like FixTeam will replace an iPhones screen for $70, should be similar for your phone.
I'm not too familiar with Crossgates but that would be a good idea to start at, you should be able to find the right place or at least be directed to a convenient shop.
I can't speak to cost but there is a small fix it shop in the mall like in the middle of the walking paths.
There are multiple phone repair shops and kiosks in Crossgates, unfortunately I have no idea what their pricing is for such a repair.
