I recently bought a 5lb bag of Wegmans long grain brown rice.The plastic bag had to be opened with scissors, but once opened, I noticed a zip closure stuck on one side INSIDE the bag... What should I have done to re-close it with the zip?

If you look carefully, you can see where the top of the V closure is welded to the bag. You have to cut above the weld. I did the same thing with my first V closure bag.
