Why in & out chopped onion now days , they use to put a big grill onion slice on their hamburgers b4 now days if u don't ask 4 a grill slice , u get chopped onion on ur hamburger n the in & out flavor is on the grill slice onion? ??

I've always got the sliced onion when I ask for oninon

I have dined at two different In-N-Outs this week. When asked if I wanted onion BOTH served THICK CUT SLICES OF ONION, lettuce and tomato. Maybe you could try another store? Or report those to Corporate HQ. An established franchise business would prohibit such a corruption of its "Claim to fame".

In & out onion wasn't chopped till some time ago n the flavor isn't the same on a grill chopped onion than on a whole thick slice onion

I had the slice onions on my burger,and didn't have any problem with burger..

I always order with no onions so wouldn't know!

I've had them recently and the onion was round not chopped weird.

Im not sure why requesting it is such a hassle.🤷🏿‍♀️

I think pretty much anywhere its chopped into pieces unless you ask for the whole grilled onion
