Is there parking onsite? Understand there's no parking at the actual campsites but can we expect to have a spot to leave the car for the duration of the trip?

Yes, they have designated parking and each campsite can have at least one car parked by them.

We have always been able to park at the site. No problems. You have a wonderful time.

Yes. I'm pretty sure you can park the vehicle at the camp site.
