Why does this Perkins close so darn early? This is the first Perkins that I have ever seen that isn't open 24/7. Closing at 8 PM means I most likely will never be able to eat there, not to mention no late night deals and a slice of pie at 1/2 price

Wow. Hey ya'll. I'm just a good Ole boy from here, more or less. But a man who cam by our church and told us about people who live in Africa, in 2021, eat less than a corn bread muffin a day, unless the ants are up in the stumps...and get their water from a bucket laid sideways in a mud hole and wait for the sediment to settle to drink it. The company I work with, in excavation in Knox area, pays $16+ experience to almost anyone who will show up. Once they do, about one in ten work more than 2 days. I've not met one, who can pass a us. I say let's stop saying how pitiful some things are, and start being men and women, and try to help teach somebody...our kids and grandkids...words of appreciation and kindness, and even some gratitude for what we have in this great land. In my opinion

That's ridiculous! And that's only because they refuse to pay a living wage! And for those businesses that can't pay a living wage they should go out of business! No one should be working for less than $15 an hour in 2021. There is no labor shortage there's only a wage shortage, I hope they just go out of business if they can't pay their employees.
