It states in the review, reservations required. Not that I ever was told, why is this in the review? Is this for scheduling special celebrations?

You don't need reservations. But if you have a group of people like for a Birthday Party or Church group lunch. Then you would need to call the restaurant and inform them so they can assign a waitress to the tables and seat everyone in the section for groups.
