2d stands for 2 dimensions and is used for most movies 3d is three dimensional and requires glasses that look similar to sunglasses but focus the light onto your eye in such a way that objects will appear as if they are actually coming out at you Imax is 3d, bigger screen, and louder more immersive experience

Imax is 3-d and you need 3-d glasses......plus imax is a bigger screen

2D is any normal show or movie you'd watch on any device. 3D is a more immersive experience that you have to wear special glasses to see the movie in 3D. IMAX is a total sensory experience where the screen is bigger, sound is bigger, everything is amped up to 100. Great way to see a film

Right! Like Nicole said. : ) and the IMAX is HUGE. Sometimes they show 3 dimensional movies in that suite many times just 2D

Brian Hemgesberg | Jan 18, 2018

3D you wear glasses and the scenes are 3D and look like it is coming out of the screen. IMAX is a huge screen, a lot bigger than the normal screens.

2d you don't have to have the special eyeglasses that make the film look as if the action is coming towards you.
