I'll be traveling roughly an hour to visit this drive-in as it's the closest to me now. Just wondering how early I should get there to get a decent spot but not have to wait for hours.

Should be able to get a good spot if you arrive a hour before sundown.

An hour should be plenty of time but for prime parking I recommend 1 and half hours before sundown
