They want a $200 deposit if you are considered " local". It doesnt say it on any reservation site. They dont tell you till you arrive there.I live a town over from Vandalia. I went to stay there with my children for a night bc we had a major plumbing emergency and they hassled me upon check-in for a $200 deposit that you dont even get back upon check out. You have to wait untill it gets refunded to your card.Its not enough that they have your card info on file they have to put a hold on your money for almost a week too.( depending on your card issuer) This policy is discriminatory and unfair. If you don't want to serve the local community than perhaps you should've move your business elsewhere too!That being said. I would call and ask them about the pool.I would think it would be open since its june 1st. They did have breakfast. You may have to take it back to your room.
I saw a guy swimming when I was there but the water didn't look to good to me. They had muffins and coffee and juice for breakfast but I didnt sit in the dinning area I just grabbed and left
