As far as I know the gift shop just sells clothes and golfing supplies.
If shopping be sure to check out the stores in Old Town Waynesville. Great shops and restaurants. Enjoy!!!
Yes there is a gift shop but not sure about children's books but there is a Walmart and other stores less than 5 mins away
