Our name and phone number were taken at the door and a text was sent to me when it was time to be seated, it was up to us if we waited in the car or in the store. Some of the tables were closed so people wouldn't be seated to close together
There are reasonable attempts to keep diners safe with distance seating and the gift shop marked with signs asking for people to social distance. We were greeted at the door with a hostess who had sanitizer if you wanted it. However, being perfectly honest, on our last visit our server waited on us with her mask down under her nose. I wasn't thrilled as she sounded as if she had a little sinus congestion. There was one another server hanging around the entrance to the kitchen, also with the mask inappropriately worn. Also, realistically, it is impossible to strictly social distance in the gift shop when it is full. Sometimes persons just have to move into your space to navigate through. There have been several times my husband and I turned around and left when we saw too many in the gift shop. We love Cracker Barrel and are very empathetic to the servers who may be cheating a bit after a day of suffocating work in a mask. But the public should beware.
People are all naked here!
