It is off of the trail, by the zoo. You are not allowed to bring friends, as the dogs have to have vet records showing they are up to date on vaccinations. However, no one is there to monitor whether you bring a guest. Additionally, there are a few "open house" days a couple of times a year when people can check out the park for free. Yes it's off of the Anthoney Wayne trail right next to the Toledo zoo Safari zone. You need a swipe card to get in so idk if you will be able to get into the park but u can see alot from outside the gate, there is also a path u can walk down along the side of the dog park (outside the fence) and you can even bring you dog for that trail
