My experience with place is always great.... Great southern food with great southern hospitality.. I recommend this if u got a taste for some good food for the soul..
The restaurant in "Jason's Lyric" was also named This is It BBQ. So many don't know that. TII prides itself on flavorful homestyle food from an enthusiastic staff who work in assembly line style to deliver a great experience. Steve Harvey's coveted Hoodie Award was bestowed on this place for their finger smacking BBQ. The owners should be concerned with every customer's experience including resuming value based lunch specials and ensuring prices don't exclude their less affluent clientele. However most of my countless visits were pleasant. You may need to manage your expectations when visiting a made to order soul food eatery . It's considered the gold standard of the South when it comes to flavor.
