I only really go there as a last resort. The last 2 carne aside burritos have been dry. I have been spoiled by some really great places with awesome burritos like the ones from Mexico Viejo in Vista...about 44+ miles away.
I've never had bad food at Roberto's (Chula Vista, on Broadway). It's ALWAYS been hot, fresh & delicious! I've tried everything on their menu that includes carne asada, which has always been top notch! Also: I can't say enough nice things about the staff & service - great people ... and they've never gotten any order I've placed wrong. 100% satisfaction since I started going there in 2007! 😃
Food here is awesome. The original that all try to copy like the name itself even. My only problem with them is so hard to get enough hot sauce. Every time i go lady is so protective of her hot sauce. Last time when asked for more i was told thats all you get and closed drive thru window in my face. Food is great though
