A lot of places will not honor the paperwork
Some places will accept paperwork but your check must be cashed by the state of Michigan and 14 days must have gone by from the date of cashing check before you can use your paperwork as your hard card. You must have your check attached with your paperwork for it to be acceptable. However be aware each dispensary has its own rules on whether they will accept paperwork with the cashed check or whether they'll just accept the hard card
Pretty sure it's la you can't take just the paperwork it actually has to be the card
