There was no problems at all with noise. Plus they have security there. We highly recommend OVR.
I have only been there a few times, but it seems about 10 or sometimes 11ish on weekends lights start shutting down and it gets dark and quiet... It's a really relaxing place.
Sadly, our campsite was next to a "long-term camper", as this was obvious by the investments they've made to their site, which included improvements that ran into the woods behind their trailer. I my mind, it is not "quiet" when one can hear people talking, young kids talking, and a dog barking all through the white-noise of our trailer's constantly running air-conditioner. This was past mid-night, when "Enforced Quiet Hours" start at 11 PM. Our first call to the Office, which rang in the Guard House, was at 12:15 AM. It took 3 calls, and repeated visits by staff with once being told the site was quiet on arrival, until 2 AM when the "party" broke up. Very sad, but our experience has led to our decision to never camp at OVR ever again. I'd conclude that, when "campers" are that invested, they probably feel that their investment comes with privileges, and this may also be recognized by management who then try to "look the other way". Good luck, campers!
