Yes you can bring your own food snacks and drinks. It is reccomended. And FYI... After you pay to get in, if you leave in car or by foot, you'll have to pay to get back in.

Yes. But most of their revenue comes from the Snack Bar. We always buy a large popcorn and tip the extra. No pressure though, this is just what my family does to support this small business.
