I'm starting out a new tank soon (my first one) and am looking to buy plants and fish- is this place any sort of reasonably priced? I'm not looking to drop hundreds; would I be better off just going to a Petco? Edit: grammar

I guess it depends on what your looking for. That said, the quality of livestock is higher at aquatics unlimited. It's a bit more pricey, but it's better to pay more and have it live than save money on something that dies

The staff there are very knowledgeable of plants fish and other necessary items to complete an aquarium.

Go to aquatics unlimited for your fish & other supplies such as a filter, heater and food. I think the prices are reasonable and the employees are very knowledgeable. The amount of help and advice they've given me far outweighs a dollar or two I might have saved elsewhere. I also never felt that an employee has tried to upsell me! I would however buy the actual tank elsewhere. Also last time I was in (about 2 months ago) they did not have a lot of silk plants for sale (as opposed to plastic) so I would purchase that elsewhere too. But if you're looking for live plants they will be able to help you.

They are much better in price for what you get. The plants are healthy and they often have deals, like "3 for 8$". Is recommend them, it's where I got all of my aquarium plants.
