Why is there only two very slow elderly associates ringing up customers on the register when there are ten people in line waiting to leave and thre or four associates standing around talking and watching at the little egg harbor ,nj half hr in line

Walmart seems to have a strategy of having less cashiers so you go to self checkout and they don't have to pay anyone to check out customers. Where have all the Walmart cashiers gone? How will the cashiers feed their families if we do their job for free? Food for thought.....

There are multiple registers to scan yourself it's quicker and more efficient in bagging when you get home to put things away quicker

Use self check, that's what I do, so fast and you don't have to wait

Because they installed those ridiculous self service lines.
