Can you bring food from home on a flight.

I brought food in my carry on bag. They allowed it but did have to take it out and make sure what it was

If you're not checking food you will have to take it out and put it in its own bin at security.

I don't know about getting it thru SECURITY screening. Now food from airport vendors, after screening, is allowed most of the time.
