It's definitely not more than$2. It's very inexpensive. Even concessions are are cheap. There's a $5 kids meal box with drink popcorn and candy. $1 hotdogs.
I'm not sure if it's the same for all the movies all the time, but when we went to an afternoon matinee, it was $2.00/each.
Tickets are $2 most days. On Tuesdays, tickets are $1.
