Because some stores buy in bulk, they pass on.the savings to the customers when certain bulk items aren't selling as well and they need to get rid of extra stock. Be thankful its cheaper.
Because the general cost of living is lower in Arizona.
different states,different cities all have different prices. High end neighborhoods compared to lower earning etc. You also deal with distribution and availabilty of products and demand.
Safeway changes prices regularly, to extract a few more cents, or dollars, nothing to do with costs.
Depends on several factors including cost of transporting goods to the stores.
Prices vary all over. Im sure prices are even highet in Hawaii
Greatful I'm not. Challenge butter on sale @ .99 cents a lb there every 3-4 mos. Not here in Kirkland, WA. Spread the bulk on many things throught the US.
