They live on their land. This is part of their tribal grounds. All property owned by Indians was taken in the 1920's in Ohio. They were allowed to purchase and own land in the 70's.they bought part of their land back. This place is great to visit. They also have a cavern on the grounds and they have tours.
This is a remnant Shawnee tribe, if I'm correct, and they own the land. Many of them live on and operate the facility. It's a lovely place! The campground is one of the best in Ohio!
