Does it run in the rain?

When I went it was raining my date and me had no complaints nor concerns about safety...

It does but like somebody mentioned not in heavy rain I really don't think I should operate it in any rain because only about 50 people are under the shelter and protected the rest of you or them will be outside not protected and it kind of sucks so your best bet would be to call when it happens but it is awesome ride you can see everything and it can be very romantic if you have a significant other

Yes unless is thundering

I assume it runs in light rain because it is temperature controlled but everyone else is outside, uncovered...like the attendant and the area for photo taking.
