Hi Mr. Pallocska: The reason is that with modern commercial washers, like our Electrolux equipment, the rinses are performed with cold water. And, since the the main rinse occurs right before the cycle ends, your clothes will be cool to the touch when you pull them out. Cold rinses are intended to protect fabrics from 35-45 minutes of sustained 130+ degree hot water. The main wash (which is mid-way through the cycle) is the step where hot water is injected into the barrel-- if you select that temperature; the same would occur with a selection of warm water. I believe that when the clothes is rest it's rinsed out in cold water
I think it's the spin cycle that cools them. I've never pulled hot clothes out of the wash. Even when they're washed in hot water.
