It is not, but you are close to it. You will go maybe 1 mile up road to it.. Pocahontas trail which will lead you into other trails. It is well mapped out.
Hatfield McCoy Trail system is maybe 2 miles from The Mud Pit. Great place! It is the Pocahontas trails of HMT.
Very handy to resort. Short ride on ATV friendly road to Pocahontas trails which then connect to Indianhead and Pinnacle in that order. Very nice place to stay, owners great.
Its Connected To Hatfield McCoy trail system but the trail head is 1.5 miles. Its the Pocahontas trail.
