Why does apple butter come in such a large jar that is to much apple butter for just two people in gets moldy

I have there apple butter for almost a year and never had a problem.

Then have a couple different sizes maybe them was out all the little ones but you can put it in a container and freeze it and redo it and it still tastes good like it was bought

Teena, you can either turn the jar upside down after opening or put into another container and freeze or eat it faster. I go for eating it faster. It's so good.
