Thank you so much for the question! The Virginia Discovery Museum is a hands-on children's museum geared toward children 8 and younger. The only teen program we offer is our Museum Teen Internship during the summer months for teens 15-18. If you are looking for things to do in Charlottesville, however, the downtown pedestrian mall, where our Museum is located, features some fantastic spots for teens, including local restaurants, clothing stores, pawn shops, a toy store, an escape room, theaters, ice cream and gelato, and more.
It could be, but it really depends on the teen. I would say, in general, most teens wouldn't be entertained for long. Most of the exhibits are geared toward kids under age 8-9.
