Bring your own if you don't want to use your vehicles radio. I listened to a movie on my trucks radio and had no problem with starting after.
If you do run down your battery, they keep a portable booster pack in the projection house, and will give you a jump start if needed.

Yes you do need a radio we just use the one in the vehicle and never have any trouble
